rooms and spaces for entertaining our guests, friends, and extended family can be as formal or as casual as our preferences and seasonal influences allow. we may choose to have conventional parlors and living rooms or expansive family centers that incorporate kitchen work areas, breakfast areas, and comfortable seating for conversation and media entertainment. outdoor terraces, roof top decks, and screen porches have led us in less temperate climates to three-season rooms. dining rooms, garden rooms, libraries, home theaters, family rooms, tv dens, and outdoor terraces are all spaces in which we entertain and share our homes. Our home entertaining environments can be as varied and unique has our personalities and lifestyles.
